You hardly ever see me without my huge purple jug of water or a big soda. I hate being thirsty, it is a feeling that I cannot stand. Being born in a country where I don't have to think about if there is any clean water to drink or where I will find a working toilet is a blessing that I take for granted every single day. I really want to help other people be able to be in a situation where they can focus on something other than finding their next sip of water.
BEING THIRSTY SUCKS.
Every minute a child dies from a water-related disease, and diarrhea remains the fourth leading cause of death of children under the age of five worldwide.
I know there are a lot of worthy charities out there. I’ve created my own fundraiser for Water.org because I believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something I feel we can make a difference with.
For every $25 that I raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years.
