My awesome girls, Aylia (10) and Eva (7) know how terrible the recent earthquakes in Nepal were for kids like them. As the country recovers from the tragedy, another disaster concerning the health of the children in Nepal is rising.
Every minute a child dies from a water-related disease, and diarrhea remains the fourth leading cause of death of children under the age of five worldwide. The sanitation problems in Nepal are posing significant threats to kids like Aylia and Eva. The problem is enormous but solutions are available. Kids with access to safe water are healthier and can attend school regularly.
That's why they've created their own fundraiser for Water.org because they believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something we feel we can help solve. We hope you agree by giving whatever amount you can to support our efforts.
For every $25 that Aylia and Eva raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
Send an email inviting everyone you know to give water. Remember to share your story and why you are passionate about raising funds to change lives with safe water.
