Hi, I'm Dawson.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that we need water to survive. We can survive weeks on end without food, but only 3-7 days without water. Here, or at least in the United States, we have ample amounts of water. We take water for granted. Just think about it; we can walk ten feet to a sink and complain that the water is bitter (guilty as charged), we have so much water that we have laws based on the quality of the water. However, in other countries, any water is Grade A water. They would love the bitter taste because they know that they are tasting life and hope.
Everyday, millions of people die because of dehydration and other water-related complications. I would like to meet a goal of $1,000 for Water.org. For every $25, they can save someone's life. That equates to 40 people. 40 saved lives.
The deadline for this fundraiser is December 17, 2014. Even if we don't meet the goal, I will continue the Bring Your Bucket Campaign.
Thank You.
