Callie's Fundraiser for Water

Imagine if you had to walk a few miles instead of a few feet for a glass of water. This is the reality for millions of women and children. Collectively, women and children spend more than 140 million hours every day walking and collecting water for domestic use. When women and children gain access to water they are healthier and have more time for education, work and raising their families.

I know there are a lot of worthy charities out there. I’ve created my own fundraiser for Water.org because I believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something I feel I can help solve. I hope you agree by giving whatever amount you can to support my efforts.

Hello friends! I am so excited that you have decided to look at my fundraiser! My heart breaks for those that do not have access to clean water. In April, I went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Some of the people living in that area had to walk a while with jugs to get water because they did not have running water in their home. When I found this organization I was so excited because although I can't do much, I can do something! It is completely safe, I promise! My goal is to raise $2,500 by October 1st, which is right before my 18th birthday! Meeting that goal would be such an amazing birthday present. Anyways, Thank you so much for your contribution, it means so much to me! God Bless!
