Every 90 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease, and diarrhea remains one of the leading causes of death for children under the age of five worldwide. The problem is enormous but solutions are available. Kids with access to safe water are healthier and can attend school regularly.
The water crisis is something we feel we can help solve together, and now there is an opportunity for us to help those less fortunate than us.
We have signed up for the Sydney Morning Herald Sun run which is 7km. For every kilometre that we run, you can sponsor us a certain amount which will be donated to water.org
Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
We're not too keen on running but for a special cause like this we are up for the challenge.
