CDFF Drummers Drumming for GOOD!

CDFF Drummers

We are "ComeDrumForFun" in Austin, Texas - a small community of drummers who love to learn, play and celebrate West African rhythms on traditional West African Instruments.

We also love drumming for GOOD! So, we pledge to raise $2,000 for Water.org by mid 2013. We'll do this mainly from performance proceeds and tips, but of course our friends and fans are welcome to help us out by donating on this site! Also, please check out our website:

Did you know that every 20 seconds, a child dies from a water-related disease? Or, that globally, about 200 million hours are spent DAILY (!!!) by women and children in collecting water?

What we like about this organization is that they focus on SUSTAINABLE solutions to help developing communities become self-sufficient and actually OWN their own wells and sanitation systems, and not be dependent on handouts or left in a horrible situation when a well dries up or needs repair.

Access to clean water and sanitation TRANSFORMS lives and restores dignity to people and communities. Women can use their time productively in caring for family, growing crops, or engaging in productive business. Children can attend school.

For only $25 Water.org can get someone safe water for life. Co-founded by Matt Damon, Water.org has been helping people get sustainable solutions for over twenty years. We can make a difference in the world, we can help change lives!
