Hi! Sheryn here! :) To celebrate my 30th birthday, I'm psyched to be working with CrossFit Gold Box here in Dubai AND CrossFIt for Glory in Lithia, Florida (my hometown!) to organize a special WOD - Dirty 30 for Clean Water - to help raise money for water.org, an incredible charity that helps millions gain access to clean drinking water.
Safe water transforms lives!
Join us for the WOD on Saturday the 19th of September 2015 at CrossFit Gold Box in Al Quoz. The WOD is free if you make a donation.
ALL FITNESS LEVELS WELCOME - you need not have done CrossFit before!!! The workout is just 30 minutes long. It'll be a fun day for a great cause.
If you'd like to do the workout in your own CrossFit box, please contact me for the WOD details at [email protected].
And for you absolute refuse-to-sweat-ers, a donation (no matter how small!) would be greatly appreciated.
Imagine if you had to walk a few miles instead of a few feet for a glass of water. This is the reality for millions of women and children. Collectively, women and children spend more than 140 million hours every day walking and collecting water for domestic use. When women and children gain access to water they are healthier and have more time for education, work and raising their families.
I know there are a lot of worthy charities out there. I’ve created my own fundraiser for Water.org because I believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something I feel I can help solve. I hope you agree by giving whatever amount you can to support my efforts.
For every $25 that we raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
Thank you, lovely people. xxxxx
