Gracie's Birthday Challenge

As my 14th birthday is approaching, I have been thinking a lot about giving back. Luckily, I happened to stumble upon this Water.org foundation. It got me thinking about how grateful I am to be living such a privileged life compared to families in struggling places. Many children don't even have access to clean water on a regular basis, which I find devastating. I've always been aware of the living conditions of people like this but my head could never truly grasp such an idea. I'm asking you for your help to make a difference in these people's lives, It would truly be the best birthday gift I could ever ask for.

Every 90 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease, and diarrhea remains one of the leading causes of death for children under the age of five worldwide. The problem is enormous but solutions are available. Kids with access to safe water are healthier and can attend school regularly.

I know there are a lot of worthy charities out there. I’ve created my own fundraiser for Water.org because I believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something I feel I can help solve. I hope you agree by giving whatever amount you can to support my efforts.

For every $25 that I raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water for life. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 25 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
