Every 90 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease, and diarrhea remains one of the leading causes of death for children under the age of five worldwide. The problem is enormous but solutions are available. Kids with access to safe water are healthier and can attend school regularly.

For this fundraiser there are currently $20,000 in matching funds up for grabs. The water crisis is something I feel we can help solve together, and now we can take advantage of this match to do twice the good.

For every $25 that you contribute to my fundraiser before November 30th, Water.org will receive an additional $25, and can give two people access to safe water.

As someone who knows a child living in poverty I can no longer ignore the undeniable issues outside of our country. The simple basic needs that we take for granted are extremely scarce in other areas. The lack of clean water has been an issue for decades, and it is an epidemic that will probably never be abolished. However, we can help raise money and awareness to try and decrease the number of children dying due to the lack of clean water.
