As we pondered over what cause would be good to fund for, we could not help but realize how much we all take safe water for granted. While we can afford to use up to (sit down for this figure) 150 gallons of water to hand-wash our vehicle, millions are dying because they do not have life's simplest neccesity.
We, Max Marlovits and Mike Erdeljac, are teaming up to bring awareness of this situation and raise money to bring safe water to those in need of it. What is the best way to do this? Run in muddy water!
We will be participating in the Tough Mudder event on May 8th, 2016 in Ohio with hopes that we will have raised enough money to bring clean water to fifty people.
For every $25 that we raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water for life. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 25 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
100% of this money goes directly to Water.org and would bring the basic necessity of life to people around the world.
