1 in 10 people lack access to safe water.
1 in 3 people lack access to a toilet.
Every 90 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease.
We are such a blessed people to have virtually safe drinking water flowing from our kitchen sinks that it is difficult to fathom the fact that 660 million people worldwide lack this basic necessity, or that every single day women and children in these poverty-ridden communities spend a combined 125 hours collecting water. But that is the reality. Luckily, it is a reality that we can change. Join me as I raise money for Water.org, a nonprofit organization that provides access to safe water and sanction to communities in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. Together, we can strengthen the health of individuals and entire communities.
