When the Ice Bucket Challenge started taking over my social media, I was inspired to raise awareness of the 780 million men, women and children who need access to safe water. This negatively impacts their health, keeps children from attending school, and traps millions of people in a cycle of poverty. This all changes when solutions to access safe water are implemented.
Over $40 million raised for ALS is amazing & I'm proud of my friends and family for helping to raise dollars for an under-funded, evil disease. But it also breaks my heart to see clean, safe water being dumped on concrete.
For every $25 that I raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water for life.
To take it one step further, for every $1000 you all, my friends help me raise, I will donate $100 to ALS research.
Together, we can change lives with safe water.
