Imagine if you had to walk a few miles instead of a few feet for a glass of water. This is the reality for millions of women and girls. Collectively, women spend more than 200 million hours every day walking and collecting water for domestic use. When women gain access to water they are healthier and have more time for education, work and raising their families.
Raising even a little money can make a permanent impact to someone in need. Students Save the World is dedicated to raising awareness and money for a different organization every ninety days. This charity is special because it addresses the most basic need that human's face and is easy to make a difference. Our starting goal is small but once we reach that there is no telling how much we could raise. Hopefully in the near future there will be a 5k run to raise even more money and awareness.
