SCOBYS for Water

Anne Trinh

Imagine if you had to walk a few miles instead of a few feet for a glass of water. This is the reality for millions of women and girls. Collectively, women spend more than 200 million hours every day walking and collecting water for domestic use. When women gain access to water they are healthier and have more time for education, work and raising their families.

I know there are a lot of worthy charities out there. I’ve created my own fundraiser for Water.org because I believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something I feel I can help solve. I hope you agree by giving whatever amount you can to support my efforts.

For every $25 that I raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water for life. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.

Here's what I aim to do. I want to turn this Kombucha bandwagon into a crusade to bring clean and accessible water to all the people who aren't as privileged as us.

Instead of personally profiting from selling my Kombucha SCOBY, I ask you to donate a minimum of 20$ to this cause; in return I will give you a SCOBY so you can start making your own delicious home-brewed probiotic tea.

The magic of this simple concept is that for each batch of Kombucha you make, you get a SCOBY-baby.. so even if you only ever make one batch of kombucha at a time, you will at least have one more to give away. Join in this cause for clean water by encouraging the next person wanting to brew their own kombucha to donate to this cause in exchange!

I am aiming to raise a big amount.. and you build a wall one brick at a time.
