Every 21 seconds, a child dies from a water-related disease, and diarrhea remains the second leading cause of death of children under the age of five worldwide.
We (Sophia & Jack) asked our parents why all kids don't have access to clean water, and were shocked by the answers! We are going to make a difference for many and hopefully save children's lives!!
The problem is enormous but solutions are available. Kids with access to safe water are healthier and can attend school regularly.
There are a lot of worthy charities out there but we’ve created our own fundraiser for Water.org because we believe safe water is necessary for a Quality life!
For every $25 that We raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water, for life.
Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years.
Together, we can change lives with safe water.
Our goal is $5,000 because that is the average cost to bring a new water well into a village without water. Did you know, Moms spend more than 2million hours a day walking to get clean water for their families?
We hope that you agree to help us by giving whatever amount you can to support our efforts. We will keep you posted about our progress along our family journey and we hope to go to Africa to visit the children there one day.
