More Dough for H2O :

There are 780 million people on earth that lack access to an improved water source. That is one out of every nine people in the world. More than 3.4 million people die each year from water, sanitation, and hygiene-related causes. Nearly all deaths, 99 percent, occur in the developing world. In addition Diarrhea is the second leading cause of death among children under five in the world; around 1.5 million deaths each year. It kills more children than malaria, AIDS, and measles combined. While there are many efforts across the world that are aiding this pandemic, not enough progress has been made and there needs to be more done! That is why I ask you “my amazing friends and family” to assist and fund my promising project, so we can make a change! What will your donation be responsible for? Well by August, 2015, I plan that we will have provided over 400, people with clean water for at least one year. Not only that, I intend to use your funding to employ several educated health care professions all over the world. I have developed a program which provides one-year grants to support the planning and development of a formal health care network to improve health care delivery in third world countries. This will provide a formal education to millions of residents to on how to properly sanitize water, and live a healthier lifestyle.
