Around the world, 780 million men, women and children need access to safe water. This negatively impacts their health, keeps children from attending school, and traps millions of people in a cycle of poverty. This all changes when solutions to access safe water are implemented.

Every year, the 8th grade ENRICH! students at Hillcrest Middle School participate in a service learning enrichment course. Our goal and hope for this course is that the students gain an additional understanding of the importance of community service. We start with how one can make a difference in the lives of people they are connected with. We then expand our focus to the community in which we live. And finally, how an act seemingly small, can make a huge difference in the world as a whole. We researched many causes and decided that water.org deserved our efforts this year.

Thank you in advance for your donation!
