Every minute a child dies from a water-related disease. Diarrhea is the fourth leading cause of death of children under the age of five worldwide. Kids with access to safe water are healthier and can attend school regularly.
The students at MRH ECC know that safe water is necessary for life and believe that every child deserves to have clean water wherever they live. The water crisis is something we feel we can help solve. On May 15th we will host a Popcorn and Lemonade Stand to raise money for Water.org. We hope you will join us by giving whatever amount you can to support our efforts.
For every $25 that we raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
