3rd Grade Sharks Water Crisis Fundraiser

Mrs. Rettig and Miss Heemstra's class learned about the water crisis and how terrible it is. We have been going to different websites about the water crisis. We also took notes. In our own science book, it shows a pie graph that 97% salt water, 2% frozen fresh water, and only 1% unfrozen fresh water.

The water crisis is the #1 global risk and is likely to become worse in the next 10 years. In Africa many people lack access to clean water, because they don’t have a water fountain near or a water drill.

Around the world, 750 million men, women and children need access to safe water. This negatively impacts their health, keeps children from attending school, and traps millions of people in a cycle of poverty. This all changes when solutions to access safe water are implemented.

For every $25 that we raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
