A Birthday Wish

Hi All!

My birthday is late next month, and I was recently inspired/encouraged by someone I know to do something different this year. So this year, the only gift I could hope to receive is your support by donating to my 35th birthday fundraiser. I hope to raise $10 for every year I've been alive (Concept provided by RAD). Water is an essential part of life, and I feel strongly about getting it to all. If all people had an equal standard of living--the world would be a very different place.

Around the world, 750 million men, women and children need access to safe water. This negatively impacts their health, keeps children from attending school, and traps millions of people in a cycle of poverty. This all changes when solutions to access safe water are implemented.

I know there are a lot of worthy charities out there. I’ve created my own fundraiser for Water.org because I believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something I feel I can help solve. I hope you agree by giving whatever amount you can to support my efforts.

For every $25 that I raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.

Thanks for reading and donating! And If you are inspired by my action, please launch your own fundraiser, if not here, with your charity of choice.

A Very Appreciative, Lucas
