In Kailahun, Eastern Sierra Leone, accessing safe and improved drinking water for majority of residents is a daily nightmare. Globally, every minute a child dies from a water-related disease, and diarrhea remains the fourth leading cause of death of children under the age of five worldwide. The problem is enormous but solutions are available. Kids with access to safe water are healthier and can attend school regularly.
We know there are a lot of worthy charities and welll-wishers out there. We’ve created my own fundraiser for Water.org because we believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something we feel you can help solve. We hope you agree by giving whatever amount you can to support our move in helping put smiles on the faces of children.
For every $25 that we raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
