Engr Daryll Tan

I'm an engineer.

I became very concerned about having a reliable source of water since Summer 2015 when the water company began escavating old pipes, digging and placing new pipings on new trenches, while they ration us with water, or worse when they shut off 3-5days and I had to pump at waterwell.

I'm also concerned at how safe water is for drinking. My recent experience is that I had drank water from a sealed container of water from a water RO refilling station had mosquito larva swimming in it. Had been ill-tummy for a couple of days without knowing a cause. Till i found this out.

Why water.org? I saw Matt Damon's interview with Ellen D, and he danced for his charity. My respect goes to you, Matt!

Around the world, 750 million men, women and children need access to safe water. This negatively impacts their health, keeps children from attending school, and traps millions of people in a cycle of poverty. This all changes when solutions to access safe water are implemented.

I know there are a lot of worthy charities out there. I’ve created my own fundraiser for Water.org because I believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something I feel I can help solve. I hope you agree by giving whatever amount you can to support my efforts.

For every $25 that I raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
