For those of you who know me, I am an avid water enthusiast. I believe in protecting our waterways from pollution. I enjoy kayaking in the early morning. I love drinking water too! More importantly, I am an advocate for providing clean and safe water to others.
Imagine if you had to walk miles for a glass of water. This is the reality for millions of women and children. Collectively, women and children spend 125 million hours every day walking and collecting water for domestic use. When women and children gain access to water they are healthier and have more time for education, work and raising their families.
For every $25 that you contribute to my fundraiser before November 30th, Water.org will receive an additional $25, and can give two people access to safe water.
