Every 90 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease, and diarrhea remains one of the leading causes of death for children under the age of five worldwide. The problem is enormous but solutions are available. Kids with access to safe water are healthier and can attend school regularly.

Phi Gamma (virtual) Chapter wants to support Sigma Theta Tau International, Inc global initiatives for relationship building and member engagement by supporting the UN global Sustainable Development Goals. Goal 6 reads Ensure access to water and sanitation for all. Phi Gamma has created a fundraiser through Water.org because we believe safe water is necessary for life. The water crisis is something we feel we can help solve. We hope you agree by giving whatever amount you can to support our efforts.

For every $25 raised, Water.org can give someone access to safe water for life. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 25 years in countries throughout the world. Together, we can change lives with safe water. Join us during our focus on WAVE during the month of May 2016.
