- The WW-Barrow - Water Carrying Power to Exceed your Water Collection Daily Challenges The WW-Barrow Invention relates to a manually operated wheelbarrow having a water container, ergonomically shaped with multiple grips options extending rearwardly at the rear of the container to lift, maneuver, control and unload, and a support system underneath the container, consists of two vertical serrated legs at the rear extending downwardly from the container, brackets at the front extending downwardly from the container to mount an axle and a barrel-shaped ellipsoidal wheel. The container is designed to front load and unload water and other liquid materials. In an exemplary embodiment, there is, at the lowest position of the container, a tap pipe with an outside screw-on cap. By disconnecting the cap and connecting a hose, the wheelbarrow can be loaded with and carry water to dispense the water at a designated location. This is a social venture with a bold mission to deliver adequate water to families and communities who have no access to taps or running water in their homes. It allows women and children to spend their time productively, give families a chance for a better future. With a single trip, the WW-Barrow delivers enough water for the whole family to wash, cook and clean within their households. Indeed this creation is re-imagining the water collection crisis in the world as an opportunity. Each feature of the WW-Barrow has been vetted through a series of design validation pilots that took place across South Africa over the past year. Our team thoroughly compared its ease of use, size, and weight, lived and worked in dozens of villages, carried hundreds of liters of water and engaged with thousands of potential end-users and sector experts.
