4 mile walk for water

Erika Hintz

Did you know that 1 in 8 people don't have access to clean water? Or that every 20 seconds a child dies from a water related disease? Or that more people have a cell phone than have access to a toilet? These are just some examples of the water crisis that over 1 billion people are facing on a daily basis.

The good news is, we can help. The problem is enormous, but you can make a difference.

Please join me on September 1, 2012 on a 4 mile walk for water, which is the average distance people (mostly women and children) walk to find clean water. Take an hour out of your Labor day weekend and join me in Brussels or remotely. Get your friends together and raise awareness. It's easy! Circulate this link and people can join in the walk for water or make a tax-deductible donation directly to water.org. I invite you ALL to join me. The more people know about this issue, the more we can do to make a difference.

For only $25 Water.org can get someone safe water for life. Water.org has been helping people get sustainable solutions for over twenty years. We can make a difference in the world, we can help change someone's life.
