Today, 1 in 9 people lack access to safe water; 1 in 3 people lack access to a toilet. More people have a mobile phone than a toilet. We can change this. Let’s work together to make the power of water available to all.
Every $25 you raise gives one family access to safe water, empowering them to define their own future. IC Food For Thought, a non-profit student organization at Ithaca College is hosting a fundraiser to gain access to proper toilets for people around the world. All the money will be donated to Water.org. Founded by Gary White and Matt Damon, Water.org is a non-profit organization that has been pioneering market-driven financial solutions to the global water crisis for more than 25 years, giving women hope, children health and communities a future.
