It started with a question from u/Better526 — “What if...?” It was an inspiring question that got us thinking — what can we do to help end the global water crisis?
Hydro Homies are a dedicated community of water-lovers, publishing high-quality memes and offering support to our thirsty friends and encouraging daily hydration. We know the importance of drinking water, but we also know that 785 million people — about 1 in 9 — are living without it.
Water.org is dedicated to changing this — and we are calling on all Hydro Homies to help. Together, we can empower families around the world with access to small, affordable loans to make household water and sanitation solutions a reality. (In less than 24hrs, we raised $1,000 — and now, we’re aiming even higher; imagine what we can do in an entire month!)
Safe water and sanitation can quickly turn problems into potential — unlocking education, work opportunities, and improved health for women, children and families across the world. Every $12.50 donated will help provide one person in need with life-changing access to safe water or sanitation.
Let’s help hydrate the world, homies!
