Ghosts of August to headline World Water Crisis benefit concert at Hard Rock Café: H2O Show

Detroit – 3.575 million people die each year from a water related disease. Friday, May 11th at 6:30 PM, southeastern Michigan is going to try to lower that statistic. The H2O Show, featuring Ghosts of August and 4 other performing acts will lend their talents to try end the World Water Crisis at the Hard Rock Café in Detroit. At a $10 door donation, the H2O Show will only provide a drop in the bucket to the amount needed to help the cause.

Doors will open at 6:30 PM with music beginning at 7 PM. The hard-rockin’ groups that will perform include: newcomers The Primitive Shine, a one night reunion of Avienne, local groups The Wallclocks, and The Science Fair, along with Ghosts of August headlining the event. Mammoth Productions LLC (a freshly formed Michigan-based production company) and the Hard Rock Café Detroit are proud to present what should be an awesome evening towards a great cause.

Proceeds from the H2O Show will go to www.water.org, whose mission is to provide clean drinking water to those who can’t provide to themselves, in which will further go towards their mission in the poverty stricken country of Haiti. Mammoth Productions was formed in late 2011 with the idea to bring entertainment to southeastern Michigan in an affordable manner. Hard Rock Café is located at 45 Monroe St. Detroit, MI 48226.
