Of all our resources, none is so precious and vital as safe water. There are 663 million people around the world without it. Access to safe water can change a person’s world, and allow them to define their own future.
Though the events of Urinetown: The Musical are extreme, the problems that inspire them are real. Free access to clean water and sanitary restroom facilities are not reality for much of the world's population. The cast, crew, orchestra, and production team of PV Theatre are doing their part to help.
For every $25 that we raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water for life. Our goal is to raise enough money to give 34 people -- enough to equal the number of students in the cast -- a lifetime of clean, safe water.
Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 25 years. We are proud to be part of their efforts to change lives with water.
