Spinning Tornadoes Clean Water for Everyone!

Spinning Tornadoes

I teach third grade in Myanmar (Burma). My energetic students decided they wanted to give back. They believe that everyone should have clean water just like them. So we brainstormed a name and came up with Spinning Tornadoes - spinning around the world filling buckets with fresh water for those in need.

To raise money we have started having Bake Sales every Monday and will be hosting a Walk-a-Thon and a Water Bucket Carrying Competition over the next two months.

We hope to raise over $2500.00. Will you help us reach our goal? Thanks!!!

P.S. Here is some info from Water.org:

Every 21 seconds, a child dies from a water-related disease, and diarrhea remains the second leading cause of death of children under the age of five worldwide. The problem is enormous but solutions are available. Kids with access to safe water are healthier and can attend school regularly.

For every $25 that I raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water for life. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 20 years. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
