My name is Will. I am a 10 year old boy who lives in San Diego. I never really thought much about water until my 5th grade teacher, Mr. Johnson, assigned us a project about water. I learned that 1 in 8 people in the world don't have access to safe water. That's just not right! I want to help change that fact - everyone should have safe water, no matter where they live.
As part of my project, I am doing this fundraiser to help get a family safe water for the rest of their lives. If people have safe water, there will be less sickness and disease, and more kids can go to school to learn.
I chose to raise $125 since for just $25 Water.org can get someone safe water for life. We have 5 people in my family, so I want to help another family with 5 people (that's $125).
Water.org is a charity that was co-founded by an actor named Matt Damon. They have been helping people get sustainable solutions for over twenty years (that's twice my life!). They have changed a lot of lives for the better, and I want to help make that change. If we all work together, we can make a difference in the world. Thank you for supporting my project.
